Dave, Casey and Nolan on the Epilepsy Foundation Walk 2010

Live in the Los Angeles area?  We would be honored to have you as a member of at the Walk to End Epilepsy. Our family is participating in the Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Los Angeles’ annual Walk to End Epilepsy on Sunday, October 16, 2011 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena.

Casey is our hero, enduring medical procedures, negative side effects from non-effective drugs, disruptions to school, sports and life and finally a very restrictive diet.  Through all of it he keeps a very positive attitude, and reminds me daily how to bravely deal with the hand you are dealt in life.

About 360,000 Californians have epilepsy.
About 24,000 more will be diagnosed in 2011.

For over fifty years, the Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Los Angeles has provided support to the nearly 160,000 individuals with epilepsy and their families in our region. The local Epilepsy Foundation chooses to fulfill its mission by leading the fight to END EPILEPSY and the burden of seizures by focusing on care, advocacy, research and education.

Your involvement helps support care, advocacy and education, today, while investing in research and hope for tomorrow.
